There were a few other little fun things I do while in Utah..

We headed to the Utah Museum of Fine Arts for their free art program for children conducted every third Saturday. A great opportunity for children. Inspiration was a 3-D printer:

Then to the art room where everyone got a packet of air dry clay to create a 3-D project of their very own.

I also went to a hugh warehouse sale of American Crafts.

My daughter-in-law and I headed to the parade route about 4:00 am to stake out a front row seat (hopefully). Lot’s of people camp out over night! We started at the beginning of the parade and started down the parade route. After a block or so we found the perfect spot on the shady side of the street. We put out our chairs and blankets to claim our spot and then sat back to relax until the others arrived and the parade started.

Fun activities at Float Preview Party Days of 47 Salt Lake City 2015

A fun event to do for free is to go to the Days of ’47 Parade Preview Party to get a sneak peak at the floats that will be in the parade. What a great activity for kids! Clowns, balloons, face painting, games and floats!!
