Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer Party

December 19, 2017 by shelley

Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer

Our party this year was a Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer Party.  Dinner was presented by Santa’s Elves and all the food was elf sized.  Everyone received their own book of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and a stuffed Rudolph with a light up nose!  Grandchildren got to search for presents on the Island of Misfit Toys and there were even a few reindeer games.

Other parties we have done have been a

Merry “Grinch”mas Party and

Frosty the Snowman Party.

The kitchen area was decorated Rudolph style…

Merry Grinchmas!

Grinch Party Invitation

Grinch Party Invitation

A very “grinchy” grinch party sounded like a great idea to make the grandchildren’s Christmas visit memorable.   I started with special Grinch party invitations for each grandchild.

My granddaughter Becca decided she wanted to help so she drew Whoville.  I decided to use it as our centerpiece.

Becca also had a wonderful idea.  In the story of “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” the Grinch takes all the presents.  So she wanted to hide presents around the house and let people find the hidden presents.  She and I went to Target bought everyone some small presents, wrapped them and hide them so they could go on a present hunt and find the presents the Grinch had hidden.  Becca never even asked for one present for herself and helped every step of the way and directed the present hunt.  I was so proud of my sweet granddaughter.
