Women’s Conference BYU 2017

2017 BYU Women’s Conference

Ellen, Linda and I once again came together at BYU (from Kansas, Massachusetts and Arizona)  to attend this year’s Women’s Conference…”converted unto the Lord”

And again, the effort was well worth it…renewing our friendship, learning from great speakers and presenters, and enjoying musical programs and presentations.  But perhaps the most unique aspect of B.Y.U.’s Women’s Conference is the opportunity to  bask in the spirit of 12000 other women coming together with one purpose and one mind…all and all…an incredible two days.

Quote Elder Bednar

Perhaps my favorite talk was by Elder Gary Stevenson

Elder Gary Stevenson

His actual talk begins about 17 minutes 50 seconds into the recording.

About 24 minutes into the talk he speaks about our days and social media. (Smart phones 27 minutes 25 seconds.) Social media platforms used by church is at 30 minutes.  Risks of Social Media begins at 30 minutes.  A cute story about a family picture is at 39 minutes and 35 seconds. Social media and missionary work is at 43 minutes and 50 seconds.
