We decided to celebrate Pioneer Day in Utah with Jen, Adam, and the kids. We were fortunate enough to get tickets for the Pioneer Program at the Conference Center.
Hand tie a cute baby present!! An adorable baby present and easy to make. The fabric is from www.ldsfabric.com. (I have disabled this link since it seems this company is no longer in business. I occasionally find small amounts of this fabric on Etsy. However, I do not think it is available any longer…sorry! I do have another blog entry with a cute baby present idea-which has been very popular.) The ties (baby yarn) were made in the base of each angel Moroni. The edges were turned and hand stitched. The blanket measures 45 x 45 inches and soft flannel fabric was used. It is such a personal and unique gift.
Two years in a row, we did it!! We’ve been friends for 30 years, and we decided to make Women’s Conference each spring a must do so we can get caught up and enjoy our friendship to the fullest. Not easy since Ellen is in Massachusetts, Linda in Arizona and I am in Kansas but we did it for the second time in two years. It is like we have never been separated and pick up right where we left off. True friendship spans time and distance, and definitely worth the effort to meet at BYU’s Women’s Conference.
