New Year’s Day
Shawnee Mission Park
Another fun park we visited was Shawnee Mission Park. I took my kids to this park when they were little. They especially enjoyed the “little houses” recreating a frontier town. Imagine our delight to find the “town” still there for Becca and Henry to play and enjoy the very same things their mom had done when she was small!
Thanksgiving Dinner 2011
I am so very thankful for so many things. Most especially for my family; my husband Bob and my children and their spouses (Jen and Adam, Becca and Carl and B.J. and Jenn) and my grandchildren (Becca, Henry and new little Jack). I am grateful for everything my parents did for me and I hope I can pass on to my children that same love. (I am grateful for my siblings and extended family too.) I love this time of year and I am grateful we have a day of to remember our many blessings. I have placed many pictures in the gallery to share with everyone our Thanksgiving dinner 2011. We missed those that could not be with us this year; Becca and Carl (recovering from surgery), B.J. and Jenn and newborn Jack. But we did have Jen and Adam and their children Becca and Henry. My sister Andrea and her children; Zain, Aalia and Nial. My Sister Miriam flew in on Thanksgiving Day Evening. We also had Gammy with us and the two missionaries in our ward.
