As Jen, Adam, Becca and Henry were heading back for Adam’s last year at Duke Law School in North Carolina they stopped in for a few days. We enjoyed lots of fun activities.

For Becca’s birthday is was a trip to the American Girl Doll Store at Oak Park Mall in Overland Park, Kansas City. It is an event for any little girl!!

Visit to Salt Lake City busy with many activities….

We were very busy with a lot of activities in Salt Lake City…

Swim lessons, tennis lessons, little gym, a puppet show at the public library, a sidewalk sale with jump houses, a car activity and hulu hooping at the University of Utah Museum of Fine Art, and Color Me Mine where Bec and Hen made a birthday present for Grandpa Bob.

Another must do, a visit to Fritz’s Railroad Restaurant in the Hallmark Crown Center, Kansas City, Missouri

Henry did not forget about the train restaurant in the Crown Center and we had to do a repeat visit to Fritz’s Railroad Restaurant in the Crown Center.

This was not our first visit to the “train restaurant”, and since it has become one of Henry’s favorite things to do and I am sure it will not be the last! (If you have kids, it is a fun thing to do with them.)

It was the toy (Zoom Toy Store) store after eating and then a must do stop to get fudge Chips Chocolate Factory).

Wanting to avoid post Christmas let-downs today was a play day. First playing in the park and then playing with “cousins” (technically cousins once removed, Andrea’s kids; Zain, Aalia, and Nial) Henry and Becca had a fun day.

Outdoor fun…riding bikes…beautiful day in North Carolina!

After nap time, we decided the weather was so beautiful we just had to go out and have some fun, riding bikes, playing and enjoying the perfect weather. Becca and Henry rode bikes and generally just enjoyed being outside enjoying the weather.
