Faith in God Sampler…great activity for Primary Activity Days

Years ago I was in charge of the activities for the Primary age girls 8-12 years old following the  program “Faith In God”.  I decided to design a sampler and teach the girls a few basic embroidery stitches. The sampler I designed was divided into sections representing:

Faith in God (girl);

Learning and Living the Gospel (sun);

Serving Others (hearts);

Developing Talents (star); and

Preparing for Young Women

(tulip-complete with a small bee for Beehives).

I found a bee button for the girls to use on the sampler which made it a little easier.  Tiny heart buttons could also be used.

I printed the pattern on fabric from my computer using Colorfast Printer Fabric.  You can find this online or at a sewing store i.e. Joann’s
