Swim Meets

Grandchildren were signed up for the city Swim Team…a perfect summer activity for energetic kids and it was very successful.  Becca qualified for all-city in four events.  She ended up medaling in one and ribboned in the other three events.  Pretty well done for the first summer every competing!

She made many friends and enjoyed the camaraderie of being on a team.

Making it more fun, each meet had a theme:

IF you did not want the pressure of competitive swim team there was pre-competitive…run just as well as the competitive…just not as competitive.  This was more to the liking of another grandchild:
